Phytosomatic Workshops

In these series of workshops, Aaron facilitates a playful space in which participants can develop their own site specific performance work in relation to plants. He offers tools of how to work with autofictional narration, movement and perceptive tuning. He works with performative exercises that offer ways to be sensitive and vulnerable with plants and our living surroundings. The first iteration took place in spring 2025 on Tempelhofer Feld, Berlin, and the second iteration at LandKunstLeben e.V. in Brandenburg, both part of “Threshold Dance”, a program led by Aaron and organised by Lernlabor e.V.
Key elements of the workshops are for example the physical encounter with nettle, the exercises ‘practicing curiosity’, and ‘narrating reality’. In these workshops, he also works with performative itineraries created collectively and treasure hunts as a format.

These workshops were part of the Solidarity Corps project ‘Rhythms of Movement: Dancing and Movement for Community Well-Being’ co-funded by the European Union
